Revel Health Rev Up Show John Gorman

"We’re in the middle of a huge transition in this industry and the shift starts with engagement. First you need to be able to find these folks, reach them, and engage them. Then, you’ve got to get them to change. That’s what Rev Up is all about and why people come to this event." - John Gorman, Chairman, Nightingale Partners

Welcome to Rev Up & Opening Keynote, “The ‘Upstream’ Effect: What Makes Us Get Sick”

Welcome to Rev Up 2020 – we’re excited you’re here! We may not all be in the same room this year, but the energy won’t be lacking. Join us for a warm welcome from Revel CEO Jeff Fritz with an inspiring opening keynote to follow by Rishi Manchanda, MD, MHP.

As more and more healthcare professionals and systems understand the impact and relevance of ‘upstream’ social determinants of health to achieving better care at lower costs, the question is how? With everything on their plates, how can doctors, nurses and other professionals make meaningful progress in addressing patients’ health-related social needs without getting overwhelmed? What is the role of hospitals and clinics when it comes to tackling issues like food insecurity or social isolation? Dr. Manchanda answers these questions and more with concrete examples and clear step-by-step roadmap for change. He shares the concept of Upstream Quality Improvement, a new take on how clinical and community partners can deploy old tools to improve care, social determinants of health, and health equity.

After the keynote presentation, join us for the Innovation Lab – an interactive learning session hosted by the Revel team. This week Andrew Larsen, Revel’s Principal Data Scientist, will be discussing our COVID-19 Survey & Insights.

FAQs

Is this an in-person event?

Not this year. Your health and well-being are what matter most, so we’re making Rev Up 2020 a virtual event and coming to you! We’ll be back in-person in 2021.

How can I attend Rev Up virtually?

All sessions will be presented as live webinars using Zoom. Simply fill out the registration form and you’ll automatically receive a recurring calendar invite for all 5 webinars. The notes section of the calendar invites will outline the session topics and speakers each week so you know what each presentation will cover and when.

I can't attend one of the sessions. Will they be recorded?

Yes. All sessions will be recorded and posted on the event website revupshow.com once the recording is available.

Where can I access the session recordings?

All session recordings will be posted to revupshow.com once the video becomes available.

How does the Innovation Lab work?

Because Rev Up is virtual this year, we’ll be presenting the Innovation Lab each week at the end of the panel sessions. We’ll jump into the Innovation Lab session as soon as the panel ends using the same Zoom meeting – it’ll be a seamless transition!

Can I choose to attend the Innovation Lab sessions only?

Yes. You’ll want to register as if you’re attending the full session. Innovation Lab sessions will follow the panel sessions, beginning around 2pm CT using the same registration link. Be sure to log on a few minutes early to catch a quick yoga session or game of trivia before the Innovation Lab kicks off.
